Landmark Galway building sells for more than €10.5m guide price

Bank of Ireland on Eyre Square rented at €663,555 a year under long-running lease

The landmark Bank of Ireland building on Eyre Square in Galway city centre has been sold to a private investor for a figure in excess of the guide price of €10.5 million.

The two-storey period building at the front along with a four-storey over-basement extension at the rear extend to 1,362sq m (14,661sq ft) and are rented at €663,555 per annum under a long-running lease.
