€1.5m sought for farm land

Agent Kelly Walsh is seeking €1.5 million for 38 hectares (94 acres) of agricultural land adjoining residentially zoned sites in Oldcourt, Tallght, Dublin 24. The sale has been triggered by Simon Coyle who was appointed liquidator to housebuilders Maplewood Developments. The lands are near developments at Ballycullen and Woodstown villages and, according to the selling agents, could be used for open space or amenity purposes. "There is a lot of undeveloped land in the areas which will now see new planning applications as the local area plan is finalised," they said.
