THE Ennistymon, Co Clare-based company, Data Display, has purchased one of its main British competitors, IGG Systems, together with its own French distributor, Eridan S.A. for a combined £2 million. Data Display specialises in the manufacture of VFD and LED electronic display systems. The company's turnover is expected to be about £10 million for 1997 from combined sales in more than 20 countries. The company employs 70 people in Ennistymon and a further 60 people overseas.
