Britain may soon have to vote on whether or not it should embrace the euro. The Money Programme - Anderson's Euro Adventure (Wednesday, 7.30 p.m., BBC2) sets off with Clive Anderson to find out how the currency has affected the rest of us.

His first stop is Prosperous, Co Kildare where he is taken for a spin by racing-driver-cum-businessman, Martin Birrane, goes to the horse races with estate-agent-cum-undertaker Sean Reilly, and talks to the Minister for Finance.

The property mania is covered in House Hunters (Thursday, 8.30 p.m., RTE1) when it profiles buyers seeking a home in Cork and others heading off for Spain.

Panorama - In Deep Water (Sunday, 10.15 p.m., BBC1) meets some of the people devastated by floods in Britain four months ago and the authorities have been criticised for the lack of investment in flood defences.

Kenyon Confronts - Contrived Accidents (Monday, 7.30 p.m., BBC1) confronts the cheats defrauding insurance companies and shows some of the reasons insurance costs are so high.
