Banta Global Turnkey, which employs more than 800 people in the Republic, has dedicated over 80 staff in its Dublin plant to producing Microsoft Windows XP in various languages, including English, French and Italian.

The company has supported the European rollout of Microsoft's new operating system with the production over four weeks of almost 500,000 units of the product in anticipation of yesterday's commercial launch.
