Bank of Ireland life assurance subsidiary Lifetime has reported a 30 per cent rise in new business to £105 million (€133 million) annual premium equivalent for the year to end December. The annual premium equivalent - an industry growth measure - is derived from regular premium income plus 10 per cent of lump sums premiums.
