Aer Lingus has confirmed the transfer of its Dublin airport operation to Terminal Two from this November to coincide with the opening of the new facility, the Dublin Airport Authority has announced.

Aer Lingus will become the anchor tenant at T2 and will operate its full long-haul and short-haul service from the new terminal. Aer Lingus will also use the new US Customs and Border Protection ) facility at T2.

By availing of this, all customs and immigration checks for the United States are completed in Dublin and passengers will be classed as domestic upon arrival into the US.
