THE Leinster Society of Chartered Accountants (LSCA) wants the Government to bring in new tax relief for businesses in next week's Budget to stimulate job-creation. The proposed new relief, said Mr Cyril Maybury, chairman of the LSCA, would involve a doubling in tax deductions for each new job created and a reduction in employers' PRSI.

While a survey of LSCA members showed that the new business relief came at the top of the list, the members also want to see changes in other tax areas such as capital acquisitions tax, stamp duty, corporation and personal taxes.
