THE Dutch owned pharmaceutical group Organon (Ireland) is to expand its plant in Swords, Co Dublin and will create 170 new jobs. The expansion by Organon will bring its total employment in Swords to 450 and is the second major expansion since the operation was set up in 1988. In Dublin, Akzo Nobel has four other operations employing over 270 people.
