Some useful performers go to post for the Bickershaw Conditions Stakes over a mile at Haydock today and this tricky contest can go to Weet-A-Minute.

Reg Hollinshead's five-year-old has not tasted victory since his juvenile days - but he seldom runs a bad race. In need of the race on his reappearance in a 10-furlong listed event at the Lancashire track earlier this month WeetA-Minute acquitted himself well against some stiff opposition.-

Back in action over a mile just three days later at York, he ran right up to his best. Held up as usual, he made headway on the rails in the home straight and came home best of all to finish a one-length fourth behind Ramooz in a well-contested rated stakes.

With question marks over the well-being of Mazboon and Vagabond Chanteuse and with the front-running Great Dane likely to set a good gallop the race looks set up for Weet-A-Minute.
