Wanderers go with Barlow

WANDERERS and Greystones have one change each to their teams for next weekend's AIL Division Two clash at Lansdowne Road.

The home side must do without full back Mark Wyse, who damaged his hamstring in his team's 22-22 draw with Dolphin at Musgrave Park last Saturday. In comes Phillip Barlow to the side that will face a significant challenge from the rampant Greystones.

The Wicklow team, however, have brought in David Nolan at left wing for Aidan McCleane in their only change from the side that comprehensively defeated Malone at Dr Hickey Park.

Clontarf who easily overran the students of UCC, have selected the same successful side, although there is some doubt over prop Ivan Cummins. It is hoped that Cummins will be available to face Malone at Gibson Park.

The Ulster side have not yet been named, but they will not have been encouraged by the fate of their captain, Stuart Duncan, who is likely to be out of the game until the end of January after a groin operation. International centre Maurice Field, however, is back after missing his club's first match due to business commitments.

Sunday's Well, who defeated North 29-14 last week, entertain a bouyant Skerries at home in Musgrave Park. The "Well" will be heartened by their home advantage. Skerries's 23-13 win over City of Derry on Saturday has set them up as a team for all to be wary of as Derry were considered one of the sides to push for promotion.

The Munster side are unchanged, although the scrum-half position has been left vacant.

Skerries should know tomorrow night if David O'Sullivan will be available following his sending off against Derry.

Monkstown have made several switches for one of their rare overnight away fixtures. Against Derry, Pat McLoughlin moves out for Derek Dowling in the prop posit ion while Barry Guiney moves into wing. Kevin McLoughlin moves out of that position and into the centre for Shay Maloney.

Bective face North with three changes to their team. Craig Whelan comes in for Ben Kiely, who has a shoulder injury, while Andrew Johnson and Stewart Wilson come in for the concussed left wing Gary Purcell and scrum half Dereck D'Arcy, both of whom are likely to be out for three weeks.

DLSP face Dolphin at Kilternan with one change from last week. Donal Brady comes in at right wing for Mark Cunningham.

In Division Three, Queens will be looking for their second victory of the season over Trinity at College Park. The Ulster side beat Bangor last week while the Dublin students went down to Collegians 27-7.

Queens, however, have lost captain Robin Morrow for at least a month with an ankle injury.
