CAVAN SHC:CAVAN OFFICIALS are set to meet tonight after Saturday's senior club hurling final between Mullahoran St Joseph's and Ballymachugh failed to take place.

The game was postponed just hours before it was due to take place after Mullahoran St Joseph’s said they were unable to play due to a large number of players being involved in yesterday’s SFC final against Kingscourt Stars.

It is expected to be confirmed at tonight’s meeting of the Cavan CCC that Ballymachugh will be given a walkover. If this happens they will represent Cavan in the Ulster Junior Club Hurling Championship, and face Down champions Bredagh next Saturday.
