LAST night's opening match in the Senior Interprovincial Men's Hockey Championship, between Ulster and Munster, was called off as the pitch at Blaris, Lisburn, was frostbound.

With milder weather expected, the Munster v Leinster match is expected to go ahead as scheduled today (2.30). Tomorrow, Ulster meet Munster at 11.00 am. and Ulster (in their second game of the day) tackle Leinster at 4.00 pm.
