RUGBY LEINSTER SCHOOLS' JUNIOR CUP QUARTER-FINALS: St Michael's College 30 Presentation, Bray 3ST MICHAELS College ran in five tries against Presentation College Bray at Templeville Road. Their dominance was encapsulated in the physicality of captain James Ryan and the sheer pace of outside centre Oisin O'Mara.

St Michael’s had five different try scorers while the sole response from Presentation came from the boot of captain Conor Byrne.

O’Mara set up winger Jack Kelly for the first try and stretched the Presentation defence to make room for Max Deegan, his partner in the centre, to dive over.

The 13 was stopped 10 metres from the tryline moments later but fullback Maximus O’Shea sniped up the blindside to score.

Presentation, who tackled bravely throughout, pegged their opponents back for the opening five minutes of the second half but a series of mauls and breaks drove them back 80 metres before the impressive Evan Ó Nualláin powered over the line.

The final word was left for O’Mara as he gathered a high ball, shrugged off his marker and sprinted 70 metres down the right touchline for the final try.
