News: Utility backs Brent Russell and Meyer Bosman were added to the South Africa squad on Saturday for the three-Test tour of Argentina, Wales and France.

The pair had trained with the squad all week as cover for the only specialist outhalf, Andre Pretorius, who has been nursing a knee injury and could not train until Saturday.

Russell has been in the squad throughout the season, though he has only made three appearances.

Bosman, the only uncapped player in the 27-man squad, was second-choice outhalf for the Currie Cup-winning Free State Cheetahs and has only eight first-class appearances to his name.
