Roy Keane refused to get carried away after his Ipswich Town side moved out of the Championship’s bottom three, following their 3-1 victory against Blackpool.
The Blues clambered out of the relegation zone for the first time this season, leapfrogging Sheffield Wednesday and Reading.
And while it was a relief to secure another victory, Keane felt his side should have added to the strikes from Jon Stead, Jack Colback and Gareth McAuley.
He said: “We’re out of the bottom three and it’s a relief, when you’ve been there since the start of the season.
“But it’s not something we’re proud of. Don’t worry — we won’t be celebrating.
“We could have won six or 7-1, given the chances we created, especially in the second half.
“They were unbelievable — thank God they didn’t cost us otherwise I’d be saying the same things I’ve been saying for the last few weeks.
“It would have been a nice boost for the players and sent a message out to everyone that we’re not such a bad team. But let’s not get too greedy or selfish. We’ll take the three goals and move on.”
Town extended their unbeaten run to ten matches — three wins and seven draws — and Keane added: “It’s nice but it’s victories we need to move up the table.
“We’ve dropped some silly points but we’re looking a lot more solid and we’re getting there.”
