Euro 2016 ticket applications to open on Monday morning

Prices range from €25 to €895 for next summer’s finals in France

Uefa has confirmed that tickets for next summer’s Euro 2016 finals will go on sale from 11am next Monday, following on from Saturday’s group draw in Paris.

The application process will run until Monday January 18th, with success not dependent on when the application is made.

The FAI will apply their fan loyalty scheme in deciding the allocation of tickets, although as a second step Uefa may still perform a random draw if necessary.

Tickets will be offered in four categories, starting at €25 to €145 for the group matches, although prices for the opening game involving hosts France are higher, going from €75 to a tasty €595.

Tickets for the round of 16 matches remain the same as the group stages, while the quarter-final prices are between €45 and €195. Semi-final tickets range from €65 to €495, while the final will see fans shell out between €85 and an eye-watering €895.

Each application will be limited to four tickets per match, while Follow My Team ticket packages, only available in categories one and three, and accessibility tickets – priced at category four level – will also be offered for sale.

Applicants for Republic of Ireland tickets must be a citizen of the country and also be at least 18 years old.

Successful applicants will begin to receive notification from Uefa in February, while unsuccessful applicants will find out three weeks after successful applicants as more tickets could become available following the first round offer.
