Soccer:Coventry City have reappointed Lee Carsley as caretaker manager following Mark Robins' departure for Huddersfield Town. Carsley, who was also in charge before the arrival of Robins last September, is unlikely to be given the role on a permanent basis with Coventry chief executive Tim Fisher saying the club have already started the process of finding a new manager.

"We're not going to sit around and lick our wounds,” Fisher said today. “We have to move forward."

Coventry are currently chasing promotion from League One and lie in eighth place, just seven points off the play-offs. "People should be left in no doubt that we will continue with our pursuit of trying to get into the League One play-offs," Fisher added.

"Let me make it clear that we did everything we could to keep hold of Mark Robins, but we will continue to move forward. The new manager will build on what we have done."
