Chelsea manager Carlo Ancelotti insists he will not quit the Blues even if the Italy job becomes vacant at the end of the summer amidst speculation that Azzurri boss Marcello Lippi will step down after the World Cup.

However, the former AC Milan coach, who only took over at Stamford Bridge in the summer, claims he will not cut short his time at Chelsea.

“The Azzurri coach next year certainly won’t be me. I am Chelsea coach, let’s see how this beautiful adventure will end,” said Ancelotti.

He admits, however, that he would love to one day take charge of a national team. “The idea of being a national team coach is really tantalising for me,” he added.
