A round-up of today's other stories in brief.
FA to probe racism claim
The English Football Association have confirmed they will be contacting Stoke captain Michael Duberry after he accused Leicester's Danny Tiatto of racially abusing Senegalese midfielder Salif Diao.
Duberry claims Tiatto made the comments when the Australian defender and Diao, currently on loan at Stoke from Liverpool, clashed early on in Tuesday night's Championship game at the Walkers Stadium.
But the FA have now revealed match referee Graham Laws made no reference to the incident in his match report - meaning no further action can be taken unless an official complaint is lodged by the club or players concerned.
Duberry, who admitted he does not intend to make a formal complaint to the FA, said: "I'm not sure if the ref heard it himself but a lot of players did. And he (Tiatto) knows what he said. He should be disgusted with himself."
Meanwhile, Uefa have rejected an appeal by Wisla Krakow's Nikola Mijailovic against his five-match ban for racially abusing Blackburn Rovers striker Benni McCarthy.
Mijailovic (24) received the ban last month after an investigation following the Uefa Cup match between the sides on October 19th, which Blackburn won 2-1.
Leicester bid confirmed
Leicester have confirmed a £25-million takeover offer has been received from former Portsmouth owner Milan Mandaric - but stressed he was not the only one interested in buying the club.
Mandaric (68) stepped down at Portsmouth after selling to Alexandre Gaydamak, although he continued as non-executive chairman at Fratton Park before severing his links at the end of September.
The Serbian-born American has announced his intention to take a controlling interest of Leicester, although Mandaric has competition for control at the Walkers Stadium with two unnamed American parties and a proposal from a rival from the midlands of England also in the pipeline.
