Tippperary v Sligo:A FASCINATING game in store as Tipperary look to continue their impressive progress while Sligo look to make amends for their narrow Connacht semi-final defeat to Galway. There are small indications it might be the latter.

Sligo captain Charlie Harrison is out with a shoulder injury, and is replaced by corner back Paul McGovern, while for Tipp Paul Fitzgerald returns in goal in place of Matthew O’Donnell. There is no denying the enthusiasm John Evans has brought to Tipp but that may not be enough this time.

TIPPERARY: P Fitzgerald; P Codd, C McDonald, C Higgins; C Aylward, H Coghlan, RCostigan; G Hannigan, K Mulryan; S Carey, P Austin, B Mulvihill; B Fox, B Coen, B Grogan.

SLIGO: P Greene; P McGovern, N McGuire, N Ewing; M McNamara, R Donavan, J Davey; E Mullen, T Taylor; M Breheny, A Costello, S Davey; D Kelly, E O’Hara, A Marren.
