Skerries impressed against St David's Greystones to book their place in the quarter-finals. Neil Walsh and Paddy O'Sullivan scored first-half tries with Colin Whearity landing a conversion and two penalties to leave it 18-0 at the break.

St David's managed to hold Skerries for much of the second half before conceding tries to Walsh and Ross McCorry. In the dying seconds, the losers' hooker Andrew Griffin went over under the posts with Brian O'Sullivan converting.
