John Sheridan's move to Birmingham is set to go ahead today The Sheffield Wednesday and Republic of Ireland midfielder join the club on loan and be available for Sunday's English League Cup semi final first leg against his former club Leeds.
Birmingham have also strengthened their midfield by signing Everton's Vinny Samways until the end of the season.
