GABRIELLA SABATINI has pulled out of Wimbledon because of a pulled stomach muscle.

The Argentinian, a finalist in 1991 and semi finalist on three other occasions, has been troubled by the injury since April.

Sabatini, who lost the 1991 Wimbledon final to Steffi Graf, last played in the Family Circle Cup in Hilton Head, South Carolina, in the first week of April, losing in the second round after receiving a first round bye.
