Rugby:As if it were needed, Leinster's Heineken Cup quarter-final against the Leicester Tigers just got a little bit more attractive after the organisers handed the fixture a Saturday evening kick-off at the Aviva Stadium.

The match, which has been switched from the RDS in the hope of attracting a 51,700 full-house to the new home of Irish rugby, will take place at 6pm on Saturday, April 9th.

Ulster’s trip to Milton Keynes the following day has been pencilled in for 2pm. Northampton had hoped to stage the match at their Franklin’s Gardens stronghold but, as they were unable to accommodate the required 15,000 supporters, were forced to move the tie to Stadium:mk.

Perpignan and Toulon get the action underway in Barcelona on Saturday afternoon while Biarritz round off the weekend against three-time champions Toulouse. That match will also take place on Spanish soil, with Biarritz electing to take the contest across the border to San Sebastian.
