Leinster 26 Ospreys 15: Leinster have opened a five-point gap at the top of the Celtic League standings following a straightforward victory over the Ospreys.
Michael Cheika's side, with the fit again Brian O'Driscoll back in the centre, chalked up the bonus point win in front of a large at the RDS with three tries in the bag before half-time.
After a scrappy opening period, Leinster's opening try came courtesy of Shane Jennings, the back-row bundling over after a muscular drive from the entire pack.
A second score arrived minutes later, Jamie Heaslip profiting from a sparkling interchange between Luke Fitzgerald and Felipe Contepomi.
The visitors hit back five minutes later, Sean Connor punishing slack defending to reduce the deficit but Stephen Keogh reestablished Leinster's advantage with his second score to open a 19-8 half-time lead.
The bonus point was secured 10 minutes into the second-half, Fitzgerald going over in the corner after a sustained period of Leinster pressure.
The home side were perhaps a shade guilty of easing up thereafter and a late score brought the Ospreys a little to close for comfort. Nevertheless, with a maximum haul Cheika will be more than pleased with the night's work.
