Ryan, Furlong and Larmour remain doubtful for Leinster’s trip to Bath

Ryan last played for Leinster in October and missed Montpellier game with hamstring strain

James Ryan, Tadhg Furlong and Jordan Larmour remain doubtful for Leinster's final pool game in the Heineken Champions Cup against Bath at the Rec on Saturday (kick-off 1pm).

Ryan, whose last outing was against Argentina on November 21st and who last played for Leinster back in October, was originally named as captain for last Sunday’s 89-7 win over Montpellier before picking up a hamstring strain in the captain’s run the day beforehand.

Ahead of what would probably be Ryan's only outing prior to the Six Nations in Bath, Leinster's weekly update stated: "He will be further assessed this week before a final decision is made on his involvement."

Furlong departed in the sixth minute with a calf injury and Larmour played on with a dead leg until half-time before being replaced, and similarly the Leinster statement said the pair “will also be monitored further ahead of the trip to Bath”.
