AIL round-up: Cork Constitution rubber-stamped their place in the AIB All-Ireland League semi-finals with a 24-17 win over Ballymena in this afternoon's final round of matches.

Con will be joined in the last four by Clontarf, Garryowen and UL Bohemians, who clung on to fourth place despite being beaten at Blackrock.

Clontarf's place in the knockout stages was never in doubt as they crushed Dungannon 43-0 at Castle Avenue, earning a home semi-final in the process while it was a similar story for Garryowen as they nudged Shannon out of the picture with a 50-7 win over Galwegians.

At the bottom, Belfast Harlequins will be playing Division Two rugby next season as they were beaten 6-3 in the relegation dogfight with UCD while Buccaneers, already down, finished with a rare flourish as they won 24-12 at Lansdowne.
