Railway Union get the points

The points have been awarded to Railway Union for their home Leinster Senior League hockey fixture against Kilkenny. This game was called off because of the youth interprovincials on November 28th, but was not then played within the statutory period required for a postponement.

Railway now move to joint second place with Glenanne, six points behind Pembroke Wanderers. There may be an appeal by several clubs against the decision, particularly as a number of free Saturdays would be available for the match to take place.
