Follow all the action from Cheltenham day one - Live

Day one of the 2016 Cheltenham festival is finally upon us - so don't miss out on any of the action, wherever you are.

To help you out in that regard Malachy Clerkin will be running a live blog on the site from 12.30pm - full of tips, odds, the latest news and of course the results.

The main event on day one is the Champion Hurdle and that's underway at 3.30pm. The other major races on the first day include the Arkle Trophy (2.10pm) and the Supreme Novices Hurdle (1.30pm).
