THE Fermanagh and Fermoy bridge congresses will run from March 22nd to 24th, with the former in the Manor House Country Hotel, Killadeas, Enniskillen, and the latter in the Grand Hotel, Fermanagh - major and intermediate pairs on Friday (8 p.m.), and Saturday afternoon; teams on Saturday night, and Sunday afternoon; open pairs throughout; dance on Saturday night.

Entries: Mr C. Shannon, Lisnarick Road, Irvinestown.

Fermoy - mixed, and novice pairs on Friday (7.45 p.m.); two session congress pairs on Saturday; teams over an extended session on Sunday (noon); open pairs throughout.

The inter provincial under 20 team championship is being organised by Dr G.M. Keaveney, 80 Dun na Mara Drive, Renmore, Galway. It will take place in the Coleraine Academy on March 29th-30th.

Accommodation for two nights, including all meals, will be provided in the college at a cost of £21 per person.

The Ballinasloe two session open pairs championship (A.T. Cross trophy), with over £2,000 in prizes, starts at 1.00 p.m. on March 24th in Hayden's Hotel. Awards for all grades.

Some 38 teams played in the all Ireland championship for the Burke Trophy, held in the Shamrock Lodge Hotel, Athlone.
