Pick Of The Week

Monday

Monday

Eurosport (1.0) - The Fifth World Games (from Lahti, Finland). Coverage through the week of trampolining, tug-of-war, bodybuilding, dancing, aerobics and martial arts, basically all the sports we're afraid will end up in the Olympic Games one day.

Sky Sports 3 (4.0) - Live tennis: The US Open. Day one from Flushing Meadow. Coverage of the final Grand Slam of the season continues through the week.

Sky Sports 1 (7.0) - Live football: Blackburn Rovers v Sheffield Wednesday (Premiership, kick-off 8.00). Celtic fans will, no doubt, be tuning in, hoping that Wednesday's Paolo Di Canio has a tremendous game tonight - just as they will fervently hope that Rangers can overturn their 3-0 first leg deficit against Gothenburg in the European Cup this week.

Michael Lyster interviewed Cavan players Michael Reilly, Larry Reilly, Peter Reilly and selector Michael Reilly; back in the studio Eugene Magee was "fairly sure" he'd seen Paddy Reilly back in Ballyjamesduff the day before while sub Jason Reilly also got a mention. Would Reilly be a Cavan name at all?
