Ireland's Denis O'Sullivan confirmed his reputation as one of the European Seniors Tour's fastest finishers when he came from four shots off the overnight lead to capture his second title of the season at the STC Scandinavian Seniors International at Kungsangens GC near Stockholm.

Last season O'Sullivan closed with 67s to win both the Dan Technology Tournament of Champions and the Abu Dhabi Tour Championship, and at Kungsangens he went two shots better when he finished with a six-under-par 65 to record an eight-under-par aggregate of 205 and finish a single shot ahead of overnight leader England's Maurice Bembridge.

Victory gave the Cork man his second title of this season to add to the Palmerston Trophy in Germany a fortnight ago, but he would not have done it had it not been a late lapse from former Ryder Cup star Bembridge, who shanked his pitch to the last to run up a double bogey.

Northern Ireland's Eddie Polland was alone in fifth place on 210 and Italy's Roberto Bernardini was two shots further adrift on 212.
