British athlete Diane Modahl, who will bid for an Olympic place after being cleared of all drugs charges, is to run in the Welsh Games in Cardiff on Saturday, May 25.

The former Commonwealth 800-metre champion will contest a 600-metre race, one of six invitation events during the Wales-Ireland-Croatia match.

Hurdler Colin Jackson, who with his management company Nuff Respect is organising the meeting, said: "I'm pleased Diane is competing again. The British team missed her presence last summer.
