THE Limerick hurling selectors, dissatisfied with their team's performance against Meath two weeks ago, have rung the changed for next Sunday's National League Division Two game against Down at the Gaelic Grounds.

Goalkeeper Joe Quaid and midfielder Frank Carroll have lost their places to John O'Brien and John Kiely, respectively. Gary Kirby was not considered as he is due to be married on Saturday so there is a return to action for Mike Galligan who had been dropped for the visit to Trim. John O'Brien's father Jim won an All-Ireland medal with Limerick in 1973.
