Bookmakers Coral yesterday reported a continuing ante-post gamble on Lend A Hand for the Sagitta 2,000 Guineas and have cut the colt to 10 to 1 from 12 to 1.
Lend A Hand has already been well backed at all rates down from 16 to 1, and is currently the best backed alternative to 8 to 11 favourite, Xaar.
"The Lend A Hand gamble continues to gather pace, with betting shop punters preferring him as an each-way alternative to the oddson favourite Xaar," explained Coral's spokesman Simon Clare.
"Live alternatives to Xaar look extremely thin on the ground, and Lend A Hand could well be challenging for second favouritism come 2,000 Guineas day," he added.
With The Flow was cut to 16 to 1 from 25 to 1 after an impressive victory at Longchamp on Sunday.
And Coral have trimmed Daunting Lady to 20 to 1 from 25 to 1 for the Sagitta 1,000 Guineas after solid each-way backing for Richard Hannon's filly.
