Aidan O'Brien may have landed another Group One two-year-old race yesterday but events over the weekend would suggest that his newcomer Toroca has a tough nut crack in the shape of Last Tango in the Castlegar Fillies Maiden on the opening day of the Galway mini festival.

This will be Last Tango's third run and over this distance at Tipperary she was beaten in a photo finish by yesterday's Curragh Listed Race winner Lady Of Kildare. The pair were four and a half lengths clear of La Stellina and she won a nursery at Cork on Saturday.

An ability to act around Galway is major asset and into this category fit three strong challengers in the first three races. Ceoil Agus Craic (2.30), Patsy Veale (3.0) and Duinin (3.30).

Pat Hughes continued his fine run in the Irish Cambridgeshire and Duinin who had been in the first two from the fall of the flag in the Galway Plate until inside the last furlong. Patsy Veale came up against another proven Galway specialist Ansar while Ceoil Agus Craic may show that advancing years are no barrier to a first win over fences.
