ITALY COACH Roberto Donadoni said he was untroubled by his forwards again failing to find the net yesterday's 1-1 draw with Romania in Group C.
The world champions, who lost their opening game 3-0 to Netherlands, will have everything riding on Tuesday's final group game against France in their attempt to reach the quarter-finals.
"I am not worried . It happens. It is not the first or the last time and it is not a strange thing for me," Donadoni said. "Given what we did on the field and in terms of chances, Italy tonight were superior to Romania."
The coach brought Alessandro Del Piero into the starting line-up in an effort to bolster his attack but it was strike partner Luca Toni who missed several chances and also had a header wrongly ruled out for offside.
On Monday, Ruud van Nistelrooy scored for the Dutch from what appeared an offside position. But Uefa said it was right the goal should stand because Christian Panucci played the striker onside as he was lying on the ground beyond the byline.
"Today another gross mistake was made. If it hadn't happened, in such an obvious way, qualification would have been made easier," Donadoni said of Toni's header.
"In the dressingroom the boys are disappointed, as they have worked hard and got little in return. We deserved more than this draw."
Meanwhile, Romania midfielder Mirel Radoi is set to miss the rest of the championship after sustaining an injury after a clash of heads with team-mate Razvan Ratduring during yesterday's draw.
"He will require eye surgery and has a broken nose. He will not play against Holland (on Tuesday) and is unlikely to play again in the tournament," coach Victor Piturca said after the game.
