KENYA'S James Kariuki makes a return to Dublin for the ESB 5K Classic road race tomorrow, an event which also includes his older brother John Ngugi.
This will be Kariuki's second visit to Ireland this year after winning Mallusk's Grand Prix Challenge in January.
While the years have dented the effectiveness of Ngugi, he has shown occasional flashes of the brilliance that took him to five world cross country titles as well as the Olympic 5,000m title some eight years ago.
Britain will also be well represented with Rob Denmark leading the challenge.
Noel Cullen and Shane Healy lead the Irish challenge, with David Burke also travelling from London to compete.
Kenya will be well represented in the women's race by Rose Cheruiyot, silver medallist in the world cross country, a confirmed starter. Joining her will be Jane Ngotho who finished a distant second to Catherina McKiernan last week over 15K.
The women's race will start proceedings at 2.00 p.m. with the men's event taking place an hour later. One of the oldest road races on the calendar, the Clonliffe 2 Mile, takes place on Monday, beginning in Finglas.
