It was a happy Easter for Maureen Jamieson of Lahinch. A member of the club for over 20 years, Jamieson won two cups last weekend. On Saturday, playing the old course, she shot 38 points to win the Brice Cup by four points from Angela Cullinan, and on Monday repeated her form when shooting a 68 to win the Barrett Smith Cup. Another player in top form last week was the Lady President of Woodenbridge, Kay Kenny. She blitzed the field in their singles competition with 43 points off 34 handicap to win by two from Hazel Roy and Bernie Doyle.
