Leitrim were pushed all the way by a London side who will be well satisfied with their performance in a competitive encounter played in ideal conditions at Páirc Seán Mhic Diarmada, Carrick on Shannon yesterday. A well taken goal after six minutes by London' s Lorcan Mulvey saw the sides level at the break 1-4 to 0-7. Points by Emlyn Mulligan and a goal from substitute Conor Beirne saw Leitrim pull away in the second half.
