Forrest stump rivals

There was a major shock in the FBD Barton Cup in Leinster when holders Hermitage fell at the first hurdle to northside rivals Forrest Little. Hermitage lost one of their three home matches and the two at Forrest Little. Meanwhile last year's beaten finalists Enniscorthy made their way to the second round when beating Hazel Grove 3-1/2 - 1-1/2 and they will meet Kilkea Castle. Recent winners Mountrath and Slade Valley will meet in the next round. Mountrath beat Rathdowney while Slade Valley saw off Ballinascorney at their new home in Oldfield.
