LONGFORD SFC/Emmet Óg 2-7 Dromard 1-8:EMMET ÓG booked their place in the county final for the first time in 17 years. Dromard made the perfect start after 30 seconds when Francie McGee found the back of the net. Three unanswered points from the Killoe side levelled matters in the 11th minute.

But Dromard then took control and in the 29th minute they restored their three point advantage but the sides were level again in the 38th minute. There was one in it nine minutes from time but Dromard just couldn’t get the equaliser.
