The 2001 season of the ILGU Eastern District closed last week at Newlands with the finals of the Clarins-sponsored Autumn Team matches. The Dun Laogahire quintet of Paula Clancy, Nicky Robinson, Denise Harrison, Barbara Dillon and Mary Murphy came through 3-2 against The Island in the second team final while the K Club took the third team trophy with a 4-1 win over Ardee.
