ROBBIE Doyle’s stoppage-time winner was enough to secure Bray Wanderers their first win of the season as they toppled high-flying Dundalk at Oriel Park last night.

Dundalk took just three minutes to get their noses in front. Ross Gaynor whipped in a dangerous free-kick from the right and Liam Burns got a touch to take the ball past Brian Kane.

Bray pulled level in the 34th minute. Jake Kelly went down under pressure from Shaun Kelly in the penalty area and Kelly showed great composure to send Peter Cherrie the wrong way with his spot-kick.

Ian Foster’s side hit back four minutes before the break. Ross Gaynor sped away on the left before delivering a cross for Johnny Breen to score on his first competitive start for the club.

But it was Bray who had the final say of the first-half two minutes into stoppage time. Zambra found Kelly with a clever pass and the youngster showed great control to turn inside a defender to smash the ball home.

Dundalk did have the ball in the net late on but Tiarnan Mulvenna’s strike was ruled out for offside.
