Double for Gosden

John Gosden is maintaining his consistency as the curtain comes down on his most profitable British season

John Gosden is maintaining his consistency as the curtain comes down on his most profitable British season. He scooped a handy double at Doncaster yesterday ahead of an important day today when he will try to win the Tote Credit November Handicap in this country and the Breeders' Cup Mile in the United States.

Gosden scored with Masha-Il in the Gibson Booth Maiden and followed up with Escudo in the Amco Corporation Nursery to take his domestic tally to 90.

The only cloud on the horizon was the late defection of Sacho from the CPL Industries Stakes. He had to be pulled out after becoming cast in his box.

Gosden missed the successes as he is in America preparing Decorated Hero for the Breeders' Cup Mile.
