Doon CBS ... 1-15 Cashel Community School ... 1-10 A 49th-minute goal from Paudie McNamara clinched a place for Doon CBS in the Harty Cup semi-final following victory over Cashel CS in Tipperary yesterday.

With the aid of the strong wind, Doon built up a half-time lead of three points, 0-8 to 0-5, and extended the lead to eight points after 38 minutes.

Cashel cut the arrears to five points with 10 minutes remaining, but McNamara's goal steadied Doon, despite a 54th-minute goal from Cashel's Paul O'Dwyer.

Doon were well served by Paudie Ryan, Roger Ryan, McNamara, Edward Kiely and Brian Fenton while Paul O'Dwyer, Nigel Hayes, Michael Heelan, Michael Harding and Darragh Hickey shone for Cashel.
