Belfield, a stumbling block for many a travelling team this season, provided struggling Bray with an unlikely win which lifted them out of the relegation zone. Cup hero Mick Doohan was again on hand to put his side in front with a well-struck shot from outside the box after 14 minutes. Doohan's score had barely registered with the away support when Barry O'Connor headed home his side's second.
Bray scored their third on 34 minutes when Steven Fox got in on the scoring act.
Ciaran Kavanagh found the net for UCD with 16 minutes remaining.
