Pat Dolan will be paying another visit to Richmond Park in a couple of weeks after Cork City were drawn away to St Patrick's Athletic in the semi-finals of the League Cup.
The two clubs have already drawn with each other twice in the league but their third meeting of the season will have to produce a winner as extra-time and penalties will be used on the night if necessary.
In the other half of the draw Longford, who beat league champions Bohemians in the quarter-finals on Monday night, have been handed home advantage against Derry City.
Shelbourne goalkeeper Steve Williams, meanwhile, has been named as the Eircom/Soccer Writers' Association of Ireland player of the month for May.
The 28-year-old Welshman kept three clean sheets in five appearances for the league leaders during the month.
Williams, a former under-21 international who previously had spells with Coventry City, Cardiff City and Dundalk, has been performing well for the Dubliners since the start of the current campaign and the recognition he has received ends a long, barren spell for his club in the awards.
Manager Pat Fenlon recently complained that he felt his players were being overlooked.
