Kerry 2-16 Limerick 1-07: It was mainly one-way traffic at the Gaelic Grounds yesterday as a stylish Kerry already had the issue in safe keeping at the half-time break when they held a 1-9 to 0-3 advantage, with Paddy Curran having grabbed their goal after 20 minutes.

Within minutes of the restart Kieran Brennan added goal number two for the reigning Munster champions and, with points flowing at regular intervals from the outstanding Paul O'Connor and Kieran O'Leary, the pressure was always on the home side, for whom the hard-working Eoin Ryan goaled after 45 minutes.

Kerry will now play Clare in the Munster semi-final in June while Limerick will go into a play-off with the other first-round losers.
